Here's my response to sgtgump's 'non-Firefly' post about Vader - THIS is what I'm sure some Storm Trooper will be handing the Sith Lord after he sees the movie in September!

More like Joss handing George Lucas a copy of the DVD set and yelling, "YOU SEE THIS!! WATCH THESE EPISODES!! THIS IS GOOD WRITING!! THIS IS GOOD ACTING!! THIS IS QUALITY ENTERTAINMENT THAT DOESN'T RELY SOLELY ON SPECIAL EFFECTS!!!" And then Joss slaps him and tells Lucas never to write or direct anything ever again, or else Adam Baldwin will break into the Skywalker ranch and start shooting Lucas with Vera until nothing is left but a squishy red paste.

I really didn't like Ep. III

I'm with gtman8503, although I liked episode three, it was more for the effects and Natalie Portman. It needed more wookies!
Also, did anyone notice how Hayden stepped off of the table? it was more like Frakeinstein's monster then Vader!
Super pic by the way!
P.S. We never have to worry about Lucas directing anything else, I hear Ep. 3 is his last movie.

Neverwinter Nights Firefly - Space Logo
This is another logo for the Neverwinter Nights Firefly system. Several people have run RPG's in the 'Verse in the Neverwinter Nights system. This is from an actual screenshot - credits to Jon Marcure for the Serenity model.

Serendipity: A Neverwinter Nights Firefly Campaign
This is a movie poster-style montage of the characters in my regular NWN Firefly campaign.

Many thanks to Treybor here on fff.net for the shuttle model, and to Jon Marcure for the Firefly-class ship model!

Georgia System - Outer Orbits
This is a map I use in my own Firefly RP campaign; it goes with the star cluster image I've submitted before.

Don't mess with Mal
This is part of an image from the set of Serenity. With the gun and that look, I wouldn't want to have him looking at ME (I think he's actually looking at Joss). I managed to get several on-the-set photos (BIG SPOILER WARNING); I've put them at this location:

The Firefly Star Cluster
This is an image extracted from a star cluster I set up using the program It's Full of Stars. It's loosely based on the recently-leaked star map from the movie. I've actually entered all the planets we've heard about in the series into various locations in the cluster, and built up the four main systems (one for each Core world) using the sketchy details in the show. If anyone wants the star chart file, I can provide that, too (it's a great, freeware program). We'll see how long THIS one is allowed - Haken, take it down if it shouldn't be here, please.

Firefly-Class Transport in Neverwinter Nights
I've finished importing the Orbiter model of a Firefly-class ship into Neverwinter Nights (NWN). It'll become part of the NWN Campaign Development System, which I'm calling Nightfire.

This screenshot shows Mal exiting the ship onto Higgen's Moon, right outside the town of Canton.

Anyone interested in helping with the project - or better yet - running their own Nightfire campaign, please let me know - contact info at the download page:

Enjoy! And many, many thanks to Jon Marcure, the creator of the Orbiter model.

The Hero of Canton: A Firefly Neverwinter Nights Episode
This is a mosaic of screenshots from the Neverwinter Nights game we ran - the first of its kind, an online RPG set in the Firefly 'Verse. There is a Fanfic with the complete annotated log, as well.
