My dear mother, I truly hope this letter finds you we'll and happy and in time for Mother's Day. Hope all is well with the family. But to business. I tried ma, I really did. I went to better myself. I did what Uncle Jess suggested. I went to the Alliance recruiting building. I went on a small tour of the facility. That's when I found that it wasn't for me, ma. Ma, you know I'd do lots for people, but when the people in charge didn't earn the respect and admiration of those the are in charge of, and they just abuse their power, I don't like it. The 'captains' seemed to only know how to order men but not do themselves. You know I'd follow anyone that I liked or even if I didn't like them , I respected them somehow. And the browncoats. Even though I admire their guts I can't join their side because I don't know the full info and they will be outgunned and outmanned even by the idiots in the Alliance. So I've decided to do my own thing ma. I'm going to go into security. Yep, security. I'll look after people's stuff and get free trips to other planets when they move it. Or even as a bodyguard and still get the free trips offworld. Who knows ma? In a few years I might get my own ship and crew and have others work for me. I'll be the captain.
