From one of the recently posted movie pics ... this ensignia is on its' side. Any speculation on what it is?

You bet! It's the same image as the sculpture. AND the same image as the logo in the center of the Geoffrey Mandel artwork leaked from the movie, AND the same image as the one on the "Welcome to Lilac" sign that can be found on fireflymovie.com.

So, what is it? Based on the Mandel art, it's DEFINITELY four planets - but which ones, and why are three orbiting the fourth?

that would be my guess as well, sneak... seems like a symbol for the core planets to me.

I agree with the core planets, EXCEPT two things:

1) Osiris is a core planet, too. To my knowledge, there are 4 known Core worlds.

2) The colored symbols shown in the Geoffrey Mandel artwork (hope you've got that one - Haken pulled it) are all planets - three planets orbiting a fourth. Perhaps the three 'lesser' core worlds SYMBOLICALLY orbiting the fourth 'main' one?

Perhaps we should move this discussion to a post topic, too?
