Kaylee drawing in crayon
Thursday, September 2, 2004

This is a sketch of Kaylee that I did while I was on the plane to the SanDiego ComiCon. I was too cheap to buy the $10 headphones to watch the movie so I doodled. I originally drew it in pencil but last night I was inspired to add a bit of color. I used crayons. I love crayons. :D

Shininess abounds! Very well drawn, too. Crayons ARE very shiny. ;)

Heheh. Yeah, I just realized that the fact that I drew in crayons might lead you the believe that I'm a whole lot younger than I am. :p
I'm 23, but I have this unexplainable great love of crayons. Not fancy art supply store crayons. Just plain old crayola crayons. I drew this one with basic pack of crayola crayons.
I've actually drawn some pretty decent portraits in crayon.(This one not really being one of them.) This was just an experiment in coloring something that I hadn't drawn to be colored. Not easy since I was coloring over lots of pencil shading. But it was fun. :D
Wow, I'm chatty this morning. Maybe it is all the caffeine I've had. ;p
