cool Katt
Monday, October 30, 2006

My brother got out of the navy in 96 and he got himself a cat. It was a Siamese Burmese mix and being one of my family members he named him Katt. Long story short, Katt came to live with mom. She has had him for 5 or 6 years now. This is the biggest cat I have ever seen. He is not fat, he is just HUGE. I understand that Burmese can be quite large, but we are talking BIG CAT territory. Like a bobcat or summat. Anyway, Katt is well loved and has become a much needed member of the parental units family.

And now he is sick. He has not eaten in a week and is now at the vets being force fed. They can find nothing wrong. I am afraid they will have to put him down and it will just destroy my stepDad.

So send some browncoatie good thoughts Katts way. We need him home.

BLUEEYEDBRIGADIER

Damn...I know the feelings that must be rushing around everyone's heads cuz of Katt being laid up: got a dog - big ole blob of brown love (Chocolate Lab) named Dylan - who went through a nasty period where he couldn't eat anything, constantly had accidents and had issues taking his meds. He's better now...except for the gimpy leg and the fact he acts like he scarfed down too much of his breed's namesake;)

Still...mucho grande shiny thoughts for Katt's wellbeing, FMF:D

Love and prayers and all go with the Katt...Have they checked for an intestinal blockage or for urinary tract infection...our main coon was huge and often prone to those..I wish you much luck

SHINYTRINKET

Positive kitty vibes coming your way for Katt from the Crazy Cat Lady and all her furry kids! I lost two of my babies this past summer and one last fall, and they ARE my children, 'cause I got no "real" kids. So I know how devastating it can be.

Keep us posted on how he does and what the vet finds.

SWEETSERENDIPITY

Sending good health wishes to the kitty gods! Does he mayhap have some Main Coon in him? Or Norwegian Forest? They make for huge cats. We just have fat ones. Max, the evil devil cat , is around 24 pounds.

By the way, Zeke has developed a big sore behind one dewclaw. Don't know if it's a sting of somekind, or bite, or what. I can't afford the vet. So send wishes to him.

If you send me your email, I'll send you cool cat pics to cheer you up!

Ps, how's the feets?
