Good news - Tricare has approved the surgery, so #2 and I will be at the hospital bright and early Wednesday morning for the surgery. I have to admit I am not crazy about some man cutting open my child's chest. I know it has to be done, but I sure as hell don't have to like it. I sent the email to his dad. No answer. But then I really wasn't expecting it. There is a tiny part of me that wishes he would turn human again. But I think Angelus is here to stay - if you know what I mean!

Been getting flack for the whole "I do not want to celebrate my birthday", but its my birthday and I shouldn't have to celebrate. Its just another day in this hell, so whats to celebrate.

Today is his birthday. I am sure he and the bigamistskank and out drinking and driving.

I am very lonely. Sure I have the lovely people here, my 47 kids and my mom/dad. But I have no contact with any friends IRL. The friends I do have live in other places. My only human contact everyday is with strangers. I can't count the bible thumpers as friends, because to be my friend I have to trust you. Nuff said.

Anyway, whinge whinge whinge.

I shall be spending a quiet weekend. A little cleaning. A little Roswell and Firefly. Try to figure out what color my hair wants to be. That sort of stuff.

Its all good. This too shall pass.

Oh yeah, an old boyfriend from high school called today. He is married with a little one, but we talk everyonce in awhile. Its nice, someone who knows all the secrets and still loves me.

Anyway Love to my FireFlyFans family.

PS - how do you people know when I have a new entry?

*cheers that Tricare got its head out of its collective pigu and is helping to pay for #2's surgery*

*offers FMF some chocolate* As another who has a messed up mindset with that annual day (I've seriously considered taking 'mental health day' and hiding in bed until the day after, it gets so bad) please accept my condolences for having to deal with those who have no concept of the issue.
If it helps, think of 'em as well-meaning, but clueless mudder-types.
*holds up a glass to toast you* May the next year of your life be a thousand times better, may the day (that shall not be named) be as peaceful and serene as you wish it to be, and may all that has been heaped upon you by the Angelus/Parker-type and bigamistskank return to them several times over without you nor your children lifting a finger against them.
(Or if you like, you can exchange days with me -- hopefully it would be a better day for you.) *smile*

Me...I would compare you two-timing dickhead of a soon-to-be-former husband to Parker. Angelus was evil but it was of a socio/psychopathic bent. You hubby's just a piece of trash who like to call himself a human male (much to the detriment of actual human males *wink*).

Glad to hear your HMO (I assume Tricare is a HMO..or is an insurance group?) is covering #2's surgery. Least that is one less major worry, though I certainly am sending happy vibes to both of ya:D

And you have friends...maybe not ones who can bust down your door and take you out for a massively good time, but we definitely stand tall besides ya whenever you call to us;)

FMF, we know you've posted when we see your name in the "Recent Firefly Logs" section of the FFF.net homepage.

I'm not a bible-wielding, praying kind of guy, but I'll send some positive thoughts for you and #2. Hang in there!

BTW, you looked great with dark hair. :)

Not Angelus.

At least he was funny, and did what he said.
