Angel all over.
Tuesday, May 30, 2006

Dont usually write more then one blog entry a day, but this is an auspicious day. Just watched the first episode of Surface and man did it creep me out, got this whole deep water-phobia thing going for me so it hit the mark. Dont usually freak out when watching films anymore.

More importantlyn I saw the last three episodes of Angel, and they rocked! Have to say I would have liked to know a thing or two about certain events but still, some great episodes. Loved Adam Baldwin in his Wolfram and Hearth lawyer character. And ofcourse the action parts kicked hard and the sad parts bit deep, just like intended. Well, now that im done with both Angel and Buffy ill see what ill watch next. Surface seems interesting, but I know it got cancelled. Heard some nice talk about Hex to, but alas, yet again. Cancelled. Then I could always watch Twin Peaks or Wonderfalls all over again... So many great shows, so many posibilitys. Well, goint to stop this mad rant now, so..

See you all around the Verse!!

Hex... Don't pay full price.

It's not bad, but it's also nothing incredible. They marketed it completely wrong, like it was the British Buffy, but it's really not. There's little/no humour in it and the writing is not a patch on Whedon and co. Having said that, the storyline is involved and it is well filmed/directed. The end of season 2 (cancellation point) happened before they knew it was cancelled, so there are lots of unanswered questions... very annoying. Still, there are a good twenty or so episodes to keep you going for a while if you can get hold of it at a good price.
