Just a thought I got while watching the Return of the King box set. As everyone knows, the Palantiri, or Seeing Stones, enabled those of strong will to see things far off, or communicate w/ others. The Palantir didn't lie, but it might not give the viewer the whole truth either. Basically, the Palantir could show you some small portion of what was. However, even a true image and taking it out of context...well, it can be deadly. Ask Denethor.

Anyway... it sort of reminded me of how politics works. Sure, some times there is out and out lying, but more often than not, we get snippits of truth mixed in with well constructed propaganda.

Long story short... ( cause right now I'm drawing a blank as to what all I WAS going to say ... ) don't be swayed by things which are out of your control..just keep doing what you know, stay the course and you'll be fine. I'll try to bbl and clarify more, if i can.
