1) Chosen (perfect end!!!)
2) Fool For Love (William the Lonely)
3) Amends (it snowed...)
4) Anne (best line in the series- Ghandi)
5) Bad Girls ( Buffy gone bad...)

And The Body and OMWF get the Best episode nods from me, but not such re-watchable favourites...

Edit: Late addition- The Zeppo, which makes my list six, actually.
Plus: Lies My Parents Told Me makes seven
nine if I add in The Wish and Passion, and sixty-nine if I add in my other favourites, heh heh

4. Bad Girls (hey, Faith fighting Spock? I just about died when I saw that!)
5. Talking With Dead People

But actually I could pick five per year....

and I have to mention my love for 'Pangs'
which most people hate.
but I replay it every year at Thanksgiving...
and love it more each time!

edited to add: I can't believe I have to leave off 'Superstar' and 'Story Teller'....

are you finding the 'potentials' as annoying as most people do?
personally I found it easier to take on additional viewing.

I am a-typically watching Buffy on my computer, Get It Done, and I find the potentials just part of the overall story, I don't see them as annoying any more than I found Buffy herself annoying in season one...what's the fuss about them?

It was pretty intense but that's what I liked about it. The show could just bring up so many intense feelings.

As an artist you want to make people tap into their emotions and boy does Joss know how to do that!

I think that Hush and The Body are exceptional episdoes, but they're not on my personal favorites list, meaning I can't watch over and over again. Next on the list would probably be Restless, Enemies and Choices. And I do love the last 5 eps, thanks in great part to the return of the amazing Eliza.

You must know, however that even these episodes have gems in them...
Reptile Boy for instance has Xander in drag - valiantly trying to protect his friends, and that Cordelia line, (just after Buffy has saved her life!) "you guys... I hate you guys"

I hear so much ragging on season seven and six in particular, I don't see why, they were GOOD!!
Some flaws, and much harshness, but all good IMHO.
Plus Spike goes through the best transformation of all.
Season three will always be my favourite, but 2, 4, 5, 6, and 7 all get 2nd place for me, with season 1 last.

I never did like "Go Fish". I was nice to see Xander on the swim team, but it seemed like a needless distraction from the overall emotional arc between Angel and Buffy going into "Becoming".

Of course, so was "Killed by Death" I guess, but I liked that one. I like because the invisible baddies looked so cool.

This Year's Girl is the one where Faith comes out of the coma and it's only at the end of the episode when the bodyswitching takes place. Who Are You? is the next episode which actually makes use of the bodyswap - the guest star credits even say 'Eliza Dushku as Buffy'.
