Author’s note: Jubal Early: a return look at the man. Although Mr. Early was seen in only one episode of Firefly, the adventures of his character live on through fan fiction. Early (portrayed exquisitely by actor Richard Brooks) the bounty hunter, is back ….this is a humorous glance at an event that could have happened, a story about him before Serenity. Early is a bounty hunter ever in our imagination. He, in my opinion, did not meet his demise after being hurled off into space by Captain Reynolds (in OIS), he floated out there a while, then hit the recall button on his spacesuit signaling his beloved spacecraft, (the Queen Bee) to come back to him. Of course his little bout with Serenity, and his being cast off into space made him angry, and also wanting revenge. Still, that is another story, not this one.
