HEADLINE: Firefly Fans Unite to Show Support

In response to the FOX Network’s request for three more episodes of Joss Whedon’s Firefly, fans of the show are contacting Fox to show their appreciation for the program. Firefly: Immediate Assistance is a campaign organized by Kimberly Hirsh, owner and manager of JossWhedon.net and JossisaHottie.com to rally Firefly fans around the world.

The campaign consists of three phases. The first involves sending postcards to Fox executives thanking them for giving Firefly a home. The second phase is a similar postcard campaign directed at the show’s advertisers thanking them for their support. The third is a fundraising endeavor directed at purchasing a full page ad in Variety and one in TV Guide to show support for Firefly.
