I've just discovered Firefly a few weeks ago after I borrowed the DVD's from a friend. I remember seeing it advertise on TV but never caught an episode. I know I'm singing to the choir here but after watching it I fell in love with it. A MAJOR injustice was done to this show! My wife hates SCIFI and even she raves about it now. Wonderful show!
Now that I got that out, what's this Browncoat's Ball I'm reading about on here.

The Browncoat's Ball was a shindig held in Chicago over the summer. Didn't go, my ownself, but from what I hear it was pretty shiny. You can check out folks' pics at www.shindigified.com.

I believe it was decided to have the next BB at Dragon Con in Atlanta next year. Won't be able to make that one, either, looks like.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Here's to hoping it will be in Atlanta in 2005. No way am I missing Dragon Con and the BDHs that show up there next year. Being as the movie will have been out and a success by that point, the fanbase doubled in size, I imagine pretty near all the cast will be there.

How shiny would it be to be at the Browncoat Ball and have the cast come in to say hi and mingle?
