I was thinking about this yesterday now that we're going to change it to the Gulf of America. We need to rename New Mexico too.

The 'Almost a Square' State

...but not quiet
I'm not sure why its so important it keeps popping up as a truck stop, seems to be somewhere that people stopped on a long drive between the East Coast and West Coast or California to Memphis / Oklahoma City ....stop at Santa Fe or Albuquerque for a while

He does't seem to like any of the new names so I don't think he would ask the Apache and the Navajo

you can call it 'Dead-Spanish-Empire' state? who previously teamed up with other Natives and defeated Aztecs and calling it the land of dead Empire it is reasonably accurate historically

so what else happened?

history...ok fought and beat Mexicans...but what else...killed some Native Americans?....the Dead-BillytheKid-State?

Cactus bank oils lands?

The land of Sjuniper scrub, cactus, banks machine parts and medical tubes and bandages exported to South Korea, Canada, Mexico, China

Not Area 51 Land... try a more interesting state nextdoor Utah, Colorado, Arizona, Texas , Oklahoma ....its too hot here but other places have Hotter Sands and Basin Desert and we have no seas but Mexican border is South.

I can think of better things than to rename 'New Mexico Territory' again and again which has already been renamed a few times already.

I was thinking of keeping it simple.

Something like "Better Mexico". Hmmmmmm.... No. Even if the place stinks, nobody wants their state's initials to be BM.

Or "The New and Improved Mexico".

Or we could do the Ghostbusters cartoon thing and call it "The Real Mexico".
