Personally, I'd wait if I were him. Disney's trading at $99 per share right now which is a ridiculous price after last year's performance. There's no reason at all to believe that they've done any course correction, so I'd be waiting at least until the next flop or two comes out.

He could buy enough stock to be able to pick board members, he doesn't to own the whole company, just enough to control most of it.

Sure... but I'd still wait on it.

It was under $90 per share not too long ago. There's absolutely no reason for it to have gone up $10 in the last few weeks or months with how bad The Marvels and Wish performed, and yet another quarter of Disney+ losing hundreds of millions of dollars, and Disney losing the copyright on Steamboat Willy, and DeSantis putting the smackdown on Disney in Florida just this week, and Echo being another huge streaming failure, and Hasbro laying off a ton of their workforce after all the Disney toys they made are sitting on shelves for years at Ollies', and Disney announcing the only Marvel movie even hitting theaters in 2024 is Deadpool 3. Oh... and a billion reshoots announced for Snow White that is going to make it practically a new movie.

Disney isn't worth close to $99 per share.


Oh... I just checked it again now. It's $110+ per share. It's an even worse deal for Elon now.

Maybe the news that there is going to be a board shakeup and the interest that Elon has put into buying Disney has the speculators driving the price up again.

$110+ per share of Disney stock is a sucker's bet.
