ANONYMOUSE

"You are a truly primitive organism, Commander. We could have have given you an eternity of happiness in an instant of time. Now your life will be what the life of your species has always been: cruel...and futile."

"It's better to live as your own man, than as a fool...in someone else's dream."

As a kid I never forgot this exchange, delivered with such conviction by Martin. Here's hoping he's achieved that "eternity of happiness" after all.

That sounds so much like "choose freedom & liberty over slavery to somebody else" - just in a more modern philosophical context. Concepts like Founders of Democratic Republics, and those spotlighted by Braveheart, for instance. Which role was that from?

May the Good Lord take a liking to you... but not too soon!

More evidence for sure, nobody gets out of here alive.
