Everybody Dies Alone.

Is the new Serenity Comic coming out on Free Comic Book Day going to be a series or is it going to be a single issue? Does anyone know?

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

The free comic will be just one short story, as are most all those available on that day. The last time they did it (2 years ago?), half the comic was a Firefly story, the other half was Star Wars. However, there will be another series eventually from Dark Horse, although I don't think it has been announced when that will be released.

The Joss Whedon script for Serenity, where Wash lives, is Serenity-190pages.pdf at https://www.mediafire.com/folder/1uwh75oa407q8/Firefly

Last time was four years ago. That comic, Serenity It's Never Easy is here: www.mediafire.com/download/p7k4n8j7ux5mrcl/Serenity-Its_Never_Easy_%28

There is a nice symmetry between the two stories in the free comic, (one is Han Solo and Chewie), but since both stories were written by one Whedon, that is to be expected. Too bad the stories were not exactly the same. River playing Chewie to Mal's Han would have been better than the actual story. Giving River the exact same dialog as Chewie in the other story would have been funnier and made just as much sense.

Maybe I was thinking of Leaves on the Wind, which was two years ago.

Thanks for the download link! I really appreciate it!

Now you can luxuriate in a nice jail cell, but if your hand touches metal I swear by my pretty floral bonnet I will end you.
