So, what DO you all think about aliens??

Are they already here on say... a diplomatic capacity?
Do you believe we will be able to communicate with aliens in our lifetime?
Do you NOT believe in aliens at all??

Yes, there are extraterrestrials, but the chances they would be anything like us is remote, so the Goldilocks planet position has nothing to do with it. It is unlikely we'll ever actually make contact with any of them, but we could possibly receive some sort of radio signal that we could decode.

The non-creationist crowd has been clinging to Earth being "seeded" by "aliens" so that would mean they are ancestors of humans.

Are you including this version of "aliens" in your question?

I think "they" have been here already. Look at where we were 200 years ago, and then look at NOW. It's just never really added up for me.

Look at the advanced technologies from 20-30,000 years ago, compared to the paltry examples of the past 10,000 years. Did humans create those things that we cannot yet understand, or was it from others?

I was not there either. But most of the Kings, Pharoahs, Ceasars, Emperors claim divine ancestry, thus the reason they ruled over us mere mortals.
I do believe Odin existed. I do not think he was Adam, therefore he had parents. If his ancestry was divine, then I do not think the gods resided on Earth but rather "the heavens" or space or another planet/realm/dimension, and by definition they would be considered aliens, so I would need to agree that aliens in that sense have been here on earth before.
