First, here are my questions:

"First, my issue. I have completed the basic deck for Series 1, but my Card Shark achievement didn't populate. Can you assist?

It's "Card Sharp" btw, not shark, but I digress.

My question is, will the series one cards, including epic, ever be tradable or is that going to be reserved for Series 2 and above? Also is there a max optimal level for game launch, or do we grind as many as humanly possible?"

Here is their response:

"We just got your Card Shark (we're gonna stick with shark, since it's much cooler to imagine a really cool, card-playing shark!) badge sorted. You should see that Card Shark badge on your next log in. Sorry for the inconvenience!

As far as the card question goes, we are looking at the possibility of making cards tradable down the road, but it's not something we have planned in the immediate future.

When the game gets closer to launch, your accrued BP can be traded in for in-game currency. We haven't yet established those conversion rules yet, but we're working to ensure it stays fair and balanced for everyone. So, it's really up to you how many trade routes you wanna run."

My take away:

Yes, you do not need the epic cards for the "Card Shark" achievement. If you didn't get it when you completed the basic deck PM them on FB, with your Captain name and your registration e-dress, and they'll fix it in about 24 hours.

There is no need to start saving extra cards now, unless you really want them, so sell them for the BPs. (Personally I'm planning on squirrelling away a few silver and gold loot crates until Series-2 comes out just in case I can get S2 cards from them). :)

I have a feeling there will be a great leveling effort which will result in overachievers like myself (level 1213 as of posting) getting nerfed somewhat at game release. Could be wrong.

Anyone else think any differently, or have better intel?
