Hello everyone. My partner and I are trying to do something mighty. We are trying to get a life size Serenity built. We would make this mobile and take it to conventions and events. Now this is the the very early stages, As in I am writing the proposal to Fox as we speak. I have been in contact with them. I just need to make sure they realize this needs to happen. SO saying that i need to know what you would be willing to pay for this event. What would you pay to see it, photo ops, reenactments, screening in the cargo bay, maybe even a Space Basketball tournament. I need as much info going into this as possible so any help would be great. Also I would like to say we will NOT do this unless Joss oks it. While we just need Fox's approval we also want Joss' so if he says no then we will not be doing this.

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

Whether FOX or Joss approve, don't you think you're reaching a bit here, or do you not realize what "life-size" means in this case? According to the official blueprints, Serenity is 269 feet long, 179 feet wide, 79 feet high. That's wider than a football field and almost as long. I would think transportation to and from events would be a bit of a problem.

What size are you actually prepared to build?

Making her mobile is great. Plan for fan-jet engines on Serenity and flying her to the conventions. Everybody will come outdoors to watch her vertical landing. On Sunday, people will know the convention is closing when she takes off into the sky with a mighty roar.

While we say life size we really mean something large enough to walk threw. We plan for now to have the cargo bay, med bay, bridge, dining area, and inaras shuttle. While we would love to have the full ship there's just no way. But when you walk in there will be question you just walked on to the ship. Yes we know just how big she is.

The one thing that everyone wants is the double stairs up to the catwalk. People will want to be photographed on it. It will be metal. It must be strong to hold dozens of fans. It will be heavy. You will need machinery to erect it and take it down at the end of the convention.
