A new independent film Europa Report has been building momentum among scifi purists for hard-scifi, NASA, mathemathical approach that heavily incorporates scientific accuracy. Tired of watching heroes in capes shooting laser beams from eyes? Tired of green headed aliens and Trek's warp speeds, tried of Star Wars Death Stars and Lucas Light Sabres? Then Europa report might be your thing. The Europa story The story follows the six-person crew of Europa One on its mission to touch down on Jupiter's moon Europa. Expired, forgotten, spoiled rotten.

I tend to enjoy this types of films as much as I like a good Trek episode. Sunshine was solid and really loved Moon. I hope to catch this one as soon as I can, which probably won't be for a while, limited release and all...
