There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

I'll have to get back to you, on the off hand chance I ever lose enough brain cells that I'd even bother watching something like that.

MOOSE

Whenever I saw an ad for one of those pieces of crap, I always thought "damn, that money could of made a couple of episodes of Firefly"...

Then I actually watched one. I think it was the one with Debbie Gibson and Tiffany. And realized no...no way in hell would the budget of one of those fund even half an episode.

STORYMARK

Given that, despite the hype, it ended up being exceptionally low-rated - even for a schlocky syfy monster flick - No.

Excuse me while I soak in all these sweet, sweet conservative tears.

"Sharknado 2" is in the works...no joke. It'll be shot in NYC.

THESOMNAMBULIST

Years ago Director Alex Cox used to introduce 'Cult' films on a show he had on BBC 2 in England. Back then his argument for a cult film was any film that had a following, irrespective of the popularity or quality of said film. Thereby, a film that had a mere ten people following it was still regarded as a Cult film so long as that fandom was rabid enough.

Quality had little to do with it: Zombie Flesh Eaters was oft touted as a Cult Classic back in the day, Russ Meyer's films developed cult status after a while, as did many 'Video Nasty' of the 80's, as it's notoriety generated a following or a desire to watch a film, but few people actually 'saw' those films.

Sharknado fits the bill.

°...Well here I am.°

Fits right in line w/ global warming.

Both TOTALLY believable.

But I've heard more chatter about this movie than even Snakes on a plane.
