Hope nobody minds me tooting my own horn, but I just graduated with a MA in Museology (that's Museum Studies) from the University of Washington :-D

My thesis project was guest curating a portion of the new Icons of Science Fiction exhibit at Seattle's EMP Museum. Alas, not much of Firefly in the exhibit so far, but the exhibit is modular, so we'll be changing it up every year, so it'll get in there eventually! If you're ever in the Seattle area, I encourage you to check it out: http://www.empmuseum.org/exhibitions/index.asp?articleID=1630

If you go, pay attention to the "What if I were the Chosen One?" section. That's mine :-)

Thanks all! The exhibit is made up of big questions relating to science fiction, such as what if we could explore space? and what if we fought a war with aliens? My section, what if I were the Chosen One? talks about characters with a prophesied destiny, such as Paul Atreides, Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader, Kara "Starbuck" Thrace, Neo and Captain John Sheridan (Babylon 5).

Interesting subject.

Do you believe in destiny? Do you think you are destined to do sumthing historically significant?

I wunder about that myself sumtimez.

Good for you! Very exciting! And you're not so very far from me either geographically.

Ryce, yeah, by all means I want to hear about notable Browncoat accomplishments. Congratulations, and let us know when Firefly makes it into the exhibit.
