There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

I'm sure there's another Eureka thread or two here somewhere, but I was too lazy to go looking for them. Anyway, this one will be devoted to the discussion of Season 5, the final season. It has traditionally started in July, but this year it will be Monday, April 16. I had seen a reference to a tweet from Jamie Paglia about that date, but I was skeptical until I saw a promo for it last night during Lost Girl.

If anyone has any beforehand knowledge of where the story is going this year, and if you choose to post them here, please hide them with spoiler tags. All I am sure of at this time, due to the promo, is that

they either get the ship back, or in some way Allison is able to return to Eureka, because there was a scene with her and Jack together.

I usually try to avoid even watching promos, the "next on" tags at the end of shows, or reading articles about it, but that promo caught me off guard, plus I was interested to see if the April 16 date was correct.

I caught that too, but didn't really pay much attention to it. As for the 'next on' tags, I've come to pay them little to no mind at all. The clips they show, the way they sometimes edit them, almost always seem to convey what's NOT going to actually happen in the upcoming ep. It's basically the network saying " Here's what we WANT you to think will happen, but don't blame us if the exact opposite occurs. "

" I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend. "
