May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

I'm not one to normally ask people to look at links or vote for a website, but Rikki's Refuge here in Virginia is a great bunch of people who try to do all they can to help out sick, abandoned, and homeless animals. Rikki's rescues pets from kill shelters in Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, and other states and brings them to Virginia to help find them homes. I do volunteer work for them, donate what I can, and try to spread the word. They are currently voting to try to win a contest from Purina that will allow them to get much needed money for the animal shelter, money that will go to get medicine for sick animals, food to feed them, warm bedding for the winter, and to help place them in homes.
