New here - and an apology

Hi all!

This is my first posting here. Glad to meet all these Firefly fans! Y'all are wonderful people, and I am proud to be a new fan of this wonderful show!!!

I'd seen a couple of episodes when it was live on Fox. I liked it, and had friends who were totally into it, but I had just lost "The Invisible Man" on SciFi Channel and couldn't take getting involved in episodic television after that.

About a month ago, a friend at work who is a huge Firefly fan loaned me one of the DVDs from his set (Disk 1, if you need to know, heheh) and by the time I got halfway through it, I was on amazon.com ordering the set. Now, it's all I watch.

It was as I had feared - I'm totally in love with the show, the cast and everything associated with Firefly. I'm sorry I didn't get this involved when it was still on the air, but in a way I'm glad I didn't. I don't know if I could have taken the pain of losing Firefly so soon after losing another show I loved so much.

I can't WAIT for the movie!! I'm telling everyone I know about Firefly (just like my friend Scott is, who turned ME on to it). The word is spreading about this show, and it will NOT die, no matter WHAT the network thinks. We're out here and our numbers are growing....

I didn't see it (forgive me if I missed it), but will anyone from Firefly be attending ComicCon in San Diego this July? I'm going to be in San Deigo that week, but I don't have tickets for the con. If anyone is going to be there, I will HAVE to get a ticket so I can see them!!
