I was going to post this in the "Claire Wolf blogs about Firefly" thread, but it got political too quickly (hmm...reminds me of my other favorite hangout, the official boards at prospero) ;)

Anyway, here's the idea: compile a list of the most popular bloggers on a variety of subjects (including but not limited to tv/dvd/movies/media etc.) and raise some money to send them a free Firefly DVD set with a note that says something like "here's a wonderful show that we think you will like, courtesy of us fans...you have no obligation at all, but if you don't particularly like it please pass it on to someone else and if you do like it, please consider mentioning it on your blog so we can spread the word in advance of the movie coming out in 2005...here are some relevant links you might also include)

What do people think? Anyone want to suggest some popular bloggers? I'll kick in a few DVD sets myself even if no one else donates!
