To all my fellow Whedon fans,

We are a theatre troop that works out of The Browncoat Pub & Theatre, a bar located in Wilmington NC that is dedicated to everything Whedon. This April we have been given the green lite to produce and adapt our own stage version of Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along blog. We were the first ever theater in America to perform this live on stage last year, and we hope to make this show even better than the first.

We are a non-profit bar and only make money through alcohol sales and ticket sales. Our Budget is very small, and in order to make this performance as awesome as we know it can be, we have created a kickstarter to help us with our money problems.

Wow, guys.

Just. Absolutely. Wow. We met our goal in less than 24 hours. We had a time limit of 60 days. We are so humbled, and so excited. We will hopefully be able to reach all of our production goals. We plan to have screen accurate costumes, props, and sets.

Although our goal has been met, we could always use your help. The more money we make, the more we are able to achieve. (A certain prop manager actually wants to make/buy a life sized horse for Bad Horse. This may now be a possibility!)

ALSO! We will be performing a shadow cast of Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Once More, With Feeling after every performance of Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. If any of you are in the Wilmington Area, we would love for you to come see our show. It is our goal to make this one of the best, if not THE best, stage play that ever was or ever will be!
