OR, movie version:

So, tell me what I forgot to list here! What do you have? What do you want?

My fave is Doc Brown's car, BTW. And I own it.
I love the '66 Batmobile, but I own it not.
Except for the old inaccurate Corgi one from the sixties, with the bluish windshields.

LWAVES

I don't have any of them nowadays but I definitely had the '66 Batmobile (fantastic) with the Batboat and trailer that came with it. I also had Bonds DB5. I didn't have any others in your list.

Most of the diecast vehicles in my collection were the Matchbox scale ones. And a lot of them were custom painted by me like KITT, KARR and the General Lee. I had quite a large collection (well over 200) with very few repetitions. I used to do Cannoball Run or Gumball Rally style races around my garden when I was really young. Good times.

CYBERSNARK

Do the ones that turn into robots count?

No?

Okay.

I'm actually a fan of the Schumacher-era Batmobiles. Yes, I know they're ridiculous and impractical (and I have serious problems with the B&R version's lack of a canopy), but there's just something so alien and strange about their designs, I can't help but be drawn to them.

I am of course, deeply, passionately in love with the Tumbler. She's like if the starship Defiant was reincarnated as a ground vehicle.

Of course, as any child of the 80s, I have to pay my respects to Panthro's baby, the one and only Thundertank. Though I have to admit, I never liked the toy. It was scaled to accomodate the (huge) action figures, so the toy version was more of a Thundergo-kart. I always wanted a more detailed model or die-cast version that actually looked like the rolling land-mass of the show.

This is the M-12 LRV. I like to call it the Warthog.

(I'd like to give props to the Argo, for being a Star Trek version of the Warthog, but I seem to be the only person on Earth that actually liked it --no model or toy has ever been made.)

There's no official (show-authorized) toy or model of it (to my knowledge), but I would kill a dead thing to have a black '67 Impala "Metallicar" model (put a tape-deck inside it, playing "Back in Black").

A lot of TV cars have been referred to as "characters in their own right." KITT actually was (the original and still the best).

And it's not really a "car," but Kaneda's bike needs to make any list of ground vehicles.

Finally, there's no model of Lamborghini's Ankonian concept car, but if there was, I would need to buy it. Two of them; one to display "stock," and one to kitbash into "my" Batmobile.

The "We're-on-a-mission-from-God" Car? No way. That's awesome.
More awesome with picture(s) though.

IMNOTHERE

I just wish I'd been an anal, obsessive kid and kept my:

- Thunderbird 2
- Joe 90 car
- Shado Interceptor (you could put a toy pistol cap in it so it went BANG when it launched the missile!)
- Shado Mobile

...in pristine condition. Alas, I actually played with them (as have various nieces, nephews etc. over the intervening years) and while I think at least 3 out of the 4 still exist in an attic somewhere, most of the plastic bits have long since snapped off, and the various missiles and payloads are lost down the back of the sofa of history.

If I knew then what I knew now...
