Where'd everybody go? I know it's summer reruns... but ... but.... but... come back to me!

So, not totally buffy related, but I went and saw Austin Powers the other day, And I have to reitterate....

SETH GREEN ROCKS! I liked the first Austin Powers, I thought the only redeeming quality of the second was that Seth Green was in it. The third was not as good as the first, not as raunchy as the second, but Seth Green totally stole every scene he was in. He so rocks. :) And can I just say... he's hot... even bald.

Seth Green IS cool! Until he was on Buffy, he was one of those guys that I would see in random movies or commercials and think "he's that guy." You know, one of those people whose name you never know but whose face you recognize.

When he appeared on Buffy, all those roles started coming together in my head - HEY! That's Ronald's little brother in Can't Buy Me Love! HEY! That's the cha-ching guy from the Rally's commercials! HEY! That's the kid who was on the Wonder Years!

I was disappointed (but not surprised) when Greg the Bunny was cancelled. Dozens of crap shows that could have been cancelled yet one of the only amusing new shows axed.

I mock you with my monkey pants.

I was TOTALLY bummed about Greg the Bunny, mostly because they showed all these commercials, and I was never able to actually catch an episode! And with it being canned so quickly, I doubt it's one they'll ever release to DVD/VHS. Anybody ever record it?

I actually started watching Buffy because I found out Seth Green was on it. I was so put off by the title and the lame-ass movie that I refused to watch it until a friend told me that Seth Green was in it. Then I decided to give it a shot (and of course became instantly obsessed!).

I wish Oz had stuck around, but I read an interview where he said it was really frustrating to work 14 hour days, 5-6 days a week to be in one seen with 9 other people where he would have one line: "I think Buffy's right." He understood that his character would never be on of the core 3, and therefore, he would always be just Willow's boyfriend, or occassionally werewolf guy to be locked up or hunted down.

So, I'm wondering, do the other cookie animals feel sorta ripped? Like, is the hippo going, "Hey, man, where are my pants? I have my hippo dignity!"

I saw Knockaround guys last weekend, by the way. It was pretty good. Granted, not the best gangster movie of all time, but lots of pretty eye candy, and some hysterical stuff between the wanna-be gangsers and the local yokels in Montana. Seth Green was great... such a screw-up that at times it was painful to watch, but also a stand-up guy.

Plus, Vin Diesel... that's always good. :)
