Expired, forgotten, spoiled rotten.

Saw this while wasting time on amazon.com today. It's from 2008, so I apologize if this is a repost but I hadn't heard of it. The DVD features an hour long interview with Joss. All I could find for free online was this five minute excerpt of it. Interesting stuff but I'd really like to see the whole deal.

That was interesting, but short and choppy. I imagine that the full episode of this interview is so much better.

But, having said that, I really liked the little bit that was shown.

I know that's how it works some places, but if that were really true about Joss, we would have heard some of those starlets complain about now. If they can't become famous one way, exposing Hollywood exploitation has become another way, there's no reason for them to keep their quiet.

I take your point that maybe not all of them would subject themselves to a scene like that, especially when the scene was filmed multiple times for no real reason. I imagine, though, to protect himself from legal hassles, those starlets would be informed what the job might entail from the get go.

Also, it doesn't seem like he's requested favours from them as a condition of them GETTING the role, which is kind of what PN was suggesting, and which is quite a bit more seedy and inappropriate.

No complaints from the starlets, then I'm not sure it's any business of ours to complain. Not unless we had evidence of any wrongdoing, which we don't, we only know that exploitation is a perversive and unfortunate part of hollywood culture.
