PANDORA

Believe the hype.

The movie, IMO, is even funnier and more fun than the first.

If you enjoy pop-culture reference and cheap laughs (which I do), you'll really like it. Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith's chemistry is perfect again, and Lara Flynn Boyle makes for a decent villain.

Overall, entertaining, funny, with bangin' special effects. There are fun cameos, and Rosario Dawson's in it, which should be enough for anyone to go see it. I think the pug was overdone, I like the worm guys better- but other than that, you've got a good way to spend two hours on your hands with this thing.

As far as ratings go, I'd say I suppose it's worth the price of full admission, but I'd probably recommend a matinee- but I'm cheap.

Pandora
yeah.

MILLERNATE

I don't know that I'd call it better than the original. I felt they reused a fewthings and it seemed to lack the "energy" of the original (but such is the case with all sequels that aren't in the Star Wars or Godfather universe and even then there are problems). I did think that enough clicked with Jones & Smith to make it worth the $8.50. It's just that this was about a ** 1/2 movie instead of a *** movie.
