Hahaha, I just had a thought. Obviously the book is going to be released if they're having preorders, but according to the twitter page, it's still being written...

What if Beckett DOES have a mini-freak-out about this chapter on the next episode that "delays" the book real-time?

In my defense, I am not good with days, months, or things of a general calendar related nature. It's the time travel, it tends to screw things up that way.

Anyway, fun. :) I guess that means I should shake off the laziness and buy this book before people start posting spoilers.

Oh, there are some good spoilers. Including who did it.

I also loved the afterward. "Richard Castle" did thank the cast but by first name only. If you didn't know you'd wonder who they were.

Also, let the speculation begin as to who actually wrote "Heatwave". I think it rates a solid B (lots better than I thought it would be actually). The story is tight and just enough of the cheese factor to make it fun.

My vote for authorship goes to Stephen J. Cannell. He has lots of ties to the production and I loved the piece he did with Nathan on the DVDs.
