Easter eats

I am just about to start making Easter fudge balls... I want to create a new fudge with a Fireflyesque flavour....any ideas? I was thinking of maybe using dark chocolate and milk choc nougart and adding honey comb chips and something that would stay fine and crunchy maybe I'll add some Wasabi for Fire/Zing .I want the fudge to represent bitterness, sweetness,cohesiveness and dirt/dust also the fire coming out of the back of Serenity when she flies. what have I left out?

How about making something based on "Out of Gas," where Kaylee made a chocolate cake out of the protein they just ate? Maybe you could have a core like marshmallow to symbolize the protein and dip the marshmallow into chocolate and then top it off with a store bought frosting to make it look like the cake. I am not a chef, so I don't know how that would work, but I thought it might be an idea worth exploring.

You could try adding a bit of Sihnonese to it, like wrapping the chocolates up in batter and preparing them like bao. I bet the chocolate would get all ooey-gooey melty!

I've never really tried wasabi in chocolate, so I don't know what that would be like, or how to mix it so you get smooth, creamy result. You could try ginger, curry, and/or cinnamon too.

The first thing I think of is strawberries. Starwberry jam in the center the chocolate. I like Bytemite's idea. Wrap it in a dough...maybe some filo or something sweet like wontons with honey.

If I might suggest surrounding the chocolate in a meurange (egg whites, damn spelling) letting them dry, voila, your very own Ice Planet.

Hope you give out the recipe when you perfect it.

The best would be an Italian meurange (damn friggen spelling) a bit time consuming but worth it for it's thick glossy sheen.
