Is it kosher to mention other sale sites for the DVD's?

I wasn't sure. I see the links to purchase the DVD's on the homepage are to Amazon, but I got a great deal on them from another site.

Nothing wrong with that.

Though, every purchase through this site's Amazon link or clicks on the Google Ads do help pay for the site's hosting, etc., but I'm okay with people not doing it. Ultimately, it's their choice.

If you're passing along information, like "Hey, Buy More has Firefly Blu-Ray on sale for 40 bucks!" I don't think anyone will mind a bit.

If you post an active link to somewhere else, especially if it earns you points for clicks or a cash percentage, that might earn you a black mark and a lot of STRONGLY worded flames!

That's my .02 anyway.

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

At the current time both amazon.com and Target have the dvds for the same price. $21.99 for the standard edition and $57.99 for the Blu-Ray set.

The next lowest price I found was at Wal-Mart at $30.86 for the standard and just a few cents cheaper for the Blu-Ray at $57.86. That was online though, and I am pretty sure I have never seen Firefly at one of their stores.

Other places can put them on sale from time to time, and if you have info for another location that has a great deal I am sure there are others who would like to know.

Okay. Gotcha. No links (don't know how to perform those technological wonders) and I'm not compensated for this in any way shape or form.

Earlier this month I was shopping around to find a good deal on Firefly and Deepdiscount.com had the season (standard def) for $22.87 and free shipping. I placed my order, but for various reasons had to cancel it the same day. Today, I got on to place my order once again and *GASP* the price had gone up to $39 and change! So I called and told them my story. They were nice enough to give me the previous price! So, not to take money away from them or anything, but if someone would like a good deal on the boxed set, you might call and tell them they saw it cheaper earlier in the month and they might sell it to you for that same price. The Special Edition Serenity was also a lot cheaper a few weeks ago, too. I decided not to push my luck on that one

I hope this doesn't offend anyone. Just sharing a possible good deal.

I already have several copies of Serenity CE, but today noticed at Shopko their DVDs for $9.99 are on sale for $7.99 until April 4 - saw some Serenity Widescreen DVDs in there. I guess I should go back and get another loaner copy, but wanted to allow somebody else to buy it and get hooked.
