It looks like an Easter Egg with wheels, but it has 10 cupholders, WOW!! The car seats 4, (maybe) why the hell does it have 10 cupholders!

Can't understand the need for 10 cupholders, but the Fit is a blast to drive. Its chassis and floorpan are also the basis for the upcoming Honda CR-Z, a re-imagining of the late great CRX.

As a longtime lover of the CRX, it goes without saying that I'm saving my pennies!

Oh, and the Fit definitely does fit 4. I'm 6'8", and there was room behind me for an actual adult.

The CR-Z will only seat two, which works out much better for me, since I'm not running a taxi service. :)

I have no beef with MAZDA in general, but the "FIT" should be called the "EGG", and they should remove some cupholders and replace them with speakers.....or anything.

An open letter to MAZDA;

Greetings MAZDA brass; 1st I would like to say congrats on building quality cars, BUT! Do you guys and gals have a cupholder fetish? You put 10 into your new "FIT", why? That's 2 cupholders for each passenger in the car, and 2 for someone tied to the roof, all this drinking would result in the driver, passengers and the putz tied to the roof to have to pull over to piss alot. Maybe you could remove 6 of these cupholders, this would make more sence and would discorage people from riding on the roof.
