MIDSOUTHBROWNCOATS

Dear All:

I just wanted to let everyone know that if you want a t-shirt to commemorate the CSTS event, please go to our website at: http://mid-southbrowncoats.blogspot.com/ to order your shirt now. Orders must be placed by tomorrow at 5 p.m. (CST) by me.** Not only are the shirts pretty nifty but they are suppose to have a listing of all the participating cities on the back as well. So a cool commemorative item.

There will be a VERY LIMITED amount of shirts on hand at the event for sale.

Which brings me to my next topic - tickets. I know y'all saw the very festive and heartfelt message from Tanya our wonderful Mentor. Some of you have even emailed her saying you plan to come to our screening.

I'm asking you to please think about purchasing your tickets now, so that we know who is coming and know we can make our quota.**

There are full concessions available, we're having a costume contest and some really great door prizes. Not only do we have the global swag items to give away, we also have some really special jewelry, Copies of the Nothing but Red Anthology (inspired by Joss Whedon who has his piece in the book), Serenity/Firefly inspired etched bar ware (you can't find this just anywhere), and the first issue of the prequel to Serenity which is a comic book signed by Nathan Fillion himself (Supporting Kids Need to Read) I am going to post a list with pictures of all the prizes we have this week.

If enough people are coming, we are looking to have a meet and greet shindig after the screening which would be a very shiny way to meet your fellow Browncoats/lovers of all things Joss/Supporters of Equality Now.

And if you want to support the cause but can't be with us due to the long drive (we know gas is at a premium now) or other plans, there's always the Donate Paypal button. Even some change is shiny and gives us a chance to give something to Equality Now. For every $5.00 donated, we will throw in one ticket which you can designate as to which door prize drawing you want to enter. You need not be present to win. We'll send you an email with your ticket number and notify you if your name is drawn.**

I want to show the rest of the country and world, that our section of the woods does have people who care about the cause. I got involved for a couple reasons. A: Because I believe in Equality Now, and B: Because support like this in honor of Joss, makes it possible for him to keep creating and keeps the hopes alive of another Movie.

And if you know someone who loves any of these causes and/or who is a Browncoat, please let them know about this screening. Spread the word and let this grow.**

Thanks and keep flyin'

**P.S. And if you're not from this neck of the woods, please, please support the CSTS event closest to you or your heart. Cause it all goes to a great place.

Thanks!

Less than 21 Hours now for tickets online =^0^=

The big day is fast approaching...

CSTS - for the first year ever in Memphis, TN!

After 11:59 p.m. today, the tickets can only be purchased at the door and the price goes up to $13.00 for Adults and $7.00 for the kidlets. Plus every ticket purchased online, is guaranteed a lovely specially designed ticket. Those at the door will be on a first come, first serve basis and once those are gone it's just boring old rafflie looking tickets.

Come and join us for the fun and festivities as we raise money for Equality Now and Kids Need to Read. We have a great comedic emcee, door prizes, silent auction items (including a Terrify'n Space Monkey signed by Morena (Inara), A Serenity Better Days comic signed by Nathan Fillion, A Sci-Fi book signed by Alan Tudyk to CSTS, Special Firefly/Serenity shotglasses, flask set, grenades and more!) We're having a costume contest, singing the Ballad of Jayne, and just having a grand old time.

And if you can't come to our shindig, well why not donate a spare dollar or two via our shiny donate button? It's fast and easy and every cent goes to a great cause. (You can choose EN, KNTR or split it between both)

Come visit our website at: http://mid-southbrowncoats.blogspot.com/

and y'all keep flyin' and have a very shiny day!
