Ok i'm new to the firefly 'verse but i was wondering if there have ever been any clothing drives that collected coats... of a somewhat brownish color. So basically what I was wondering was would it be possible to but togeather a clothing drive and donate it to a chaity in order to get some publisity? Or has this all ready been done?

There was a coat drive right after the show was cancelled -- back in 2003. I don't know of any since then.
I went looking for info on the last one and found this:

Yes I was. I thought that maybe with the jericho revitilization of there show with the NUTS campain i thought something might come about with a BDC (Browncoats donating coats/clothes) or (Big Damn Coats) but it is just an idea right now and I was wondering how much support we could get behind something like this.
