Numb3rs, the guy who plays the ex-marine cop, (Dylan Bruno) He is absolutely Jayne's little brother.

Of course, there are a number of folk who I think might be Cobbs (or Fultons, or Pauldings) There's a certain type - Jason Statham is one. And Ron Perlman is definitely another. (The series of the Magnificent Seven just sealed it for me - Johner was always a Jayne proto-type.) And Whistler (KK in Blade) is definitely an older relative. As is, well, pretty much anyone Clint has every played.

I have to say my brain shorts out rather at the idea of Cobb womenfolk. But Emily Proctor probably comes close. If they aren't built on the same lines as the guys, I expect them to have that iron butterfly quality.

Anyone else seen folks on other shows, that almost regardless of the character, they've thought - 'they could be related to...'(insert favourite crew member here)?

ps I've always thought an older Simon would look like a young Martin Landau, if that makes sense.

Yeah , when those womenfolk are built on the same lines as the guys , the results usually ain't so nice...

But...

Elinor Donahue from Father Knows Best , Andy Griffith Show (as 'Ellie') , and Trek Classic...
She's Totally related to Kaylee...and she's a real beauty , too .

So's Annette Bening's character in 'Open Range'...

I also often see women who could be kin to Zoe , but I don't know their names .
