Ni haody, browncoats.

In keeping with the spirit of the holidays of Earth-that-is, I have completed my first fan video. Composed entirely on a Mac using iMovie, QuickTime Player Pro, and one other program, it's a sentimental look at my favourite Firefly character. With my new shiny DVDs now signed by Joss and the gang at last Sunday's Comic Thing, I guess I my coat is feeling exceptionally brown today.

Comments and feedback are of course appreciated.

There are two versions - an AVI at about ten meg and an MPEG2 of higher quality at about 35 meg. They can be found at http://homepage.mac.com/rocketplane/FileSharing7.html

Embassy, that was fantastic! Cold Spring Harbor is a great album, nice choice in music.

Enjoyed the "I get turned around" line when Serenity does the Crazy Ivan.

Thanks, Succatash. I had to resist the temptation to make every single lyric a visual pun. I'm fond of "find the strength to keep on going" and "light around her".

I also managed to get both occurrences of "comes to me when I'm feeling down" to match up, although the second one isn't as shiny as it could be. But thanks! Coming from the guy who made the "Who Are You?" Book vid, it means something.

Embassy, that was so excellent. All the trasitions were just seamless and I thought have the lyrics match the actions was really, really great.

Made me start wondering things like, "What could he do with lots of runnin' from the Alliance footage and The Downeaster Alexa?"
