It was a great idea at the time, and I should have done it then. However, fandom is a strange and volatile condition that affects us all differently. My enthusiasm has not waned, but I have reached a point where a certain amount of realism has tainted it somewhat. Therefore, due to certain circumstances, I am now not as willing or able to produce this image. If any of the other talents here would like to persue it, please do. To those of you who sent pictures for this piece, please accept my appreciation and apologies.

Well, I can't say that I am not sad. to say the least. I was hoping for an honored view of your artwork. But, since I have also abandoned firefly projects halfway through, I can't throw any stones. You rule Channain... you do more than most people in the name of righteous fandom.

Do I do more than most? I don't know. More than some, maybe...I'd go along with that. I'm not done with Firefly artwork - just revising my vision.
