Life imitates ...Firefly?

I posted this also to alt.tv.firely . Enjoy...meant
to be fun....I think.

Ok, I realize this isn’t necessarily the place for philosophical or geopolitical
discussions, but watching the DVD set of Firefly got me to thinking that
Joss Wheadon might have a future ...telling the future. Just a few weeks
ago, a long time friend of the United States ( Taiwan) was basically told not
go with the whole independence from China thingy at this present time. Granted we
need China’s to keep North Korea in check. China considers Taiwan a rouge
province and won’t stand for it declaring itself a sovereign state. Stay with me,
I’ll tie this into Firefly shortly. OK , we..the U.S. , champions of democracy, are
kinda denying freedom...temporarily to a small ally, to appease a bigger potential
ally. Combine this with China’s burgeoning space program, and rapidly
growing economy and you can see how the “Alliance” got started. Told you
I’d tie it together.....some how. I await your flames. Be kind. Just
one of those things that made me go hmmm. Or perhaps I should start
taking my medication again.

PS. what I'm saying, is if Sun Microsystems is
bought by IBM, also known as "Big Blue" , anytime
soon, we should start asking JW about upcoming
lottery numbers.
