Greets, all. Just wanted to fill the FFF community in on where the Can't Stop The Serenity global event is...

There are organizers in 42 cities in the United States, Canada, England, Ireland, Scotland, Austria, New Zealand and Australia planning on holding events on or around Saturday, 23 June 2007. Eleven cities have confirmed dates and venues: Arlington, VA; Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; Dallas, TX; London, England; Madison, WI; Oxford, England; Philadelphia, PA; Seattle, WA; and Toronto, ON.

In addition, we're working with Universal to get screenings set up in Buenos Aires, Argentina; and Tokyo, Japan.

There's still plenty of time to set up a screening event in your area. (I know for a fact that Browncoats in New Jersey, Utah and Oklahoma are waiting for someone to step up to the plate and take charge...) WHAT???

Serenity NEVER even went to cinemas in those countries! Whoo-hoo! I thought maybe it was illegal to have screenings there if there had not been a general release!
