FollowMal had the idea on another thread
to leave Bookmarks in the counters of
libraries and bookstores.

Actually Anony, Hera was the one to have the idea of the bookmarks and she actually has some bookmarks in her BSR stuff.

I'm not sure but 11th Hour may have some shiny bookmarks too.

Ah,the images that you've found would work shiny too. Remind folks to look for Firefly and Serenity while there.

Maybe we need some folks to make some more bookmarks for us.

11THHOUR

The bookmark idea is a very useful guerilla marketing strategy. It's actually one of the methods that's been listed on my website for quite a while now... but sometimes I think folks don't scroll down to find that info!

Anyway, I LOVE the bookmark idea and the small size means fans can get a lot more mileage out of each piece of paper. The "mini" posters are good that way, but something cut in half lengthwise again doubles our ability to spread the word.

I'll rework some of my guerilla marketing posters into a bookmark format. These will be easy for folks to print because they are black and white... but I always recommend photocopying onto color paper for a real eye-catching look.

I can also rework the color web banner into a bookmark, with a little more info on it. The black and white bookmarks will have the FFF.net URL on it, and I can do the same with the color one.

This is a very exciting month. We have a Firefly marathon on the 18th, Serenity is starting its run on HBO, and of course there's Serenity 'Versary on the 30th! Lots to do to make the most of this.

Oh, this will be AWESOME! An even better thing to hand out too! The photocopied ones on the color paper will be so perfect! Folks will want to keep them because they will be so beautiful.

I personally want a Mal one.

Anony, I'm sorry. I asked Hera about this because I couldn't find any BSR items that resembled a bookmark. She says she didn't finish them since 11th Hour had such lovely ones on her site already.

Besides I think 11th Hour is gonna keep us very well indeed in bookmarks.

I have printed the mini posters on regular colored paper like I can get at the office supply, but for bookmarks we'd need it to be stouter.. card stock sounds fine. Perhaps 11th Hour will post a suggestion about that when she posts her bookmark designs.
