Nothing big, but i thought it was shiny. I am a junior in college, and being the new semester, it was my first day of class in "Editorial Processes". Anyways, to get to know us, our teacher asked us our name, our year in school, and our favorite TV show. She started off by saying her new obsession was Lost and how she just now got into it. she said her friend got the first season for Christmas and left it at her place. she said she watched the entire thing and bought all the season 2 episodes off of iTunes. Anyways, she called on me first. I said I too enjoy Lost, but my favorite show was (of course) Firefly. I was expecting to get a confused look from her as to what it was, but instead she was like, "oh, very nice. I just got the Firefly box set for Christmas." Then she asked anyone if they knew what Firefly was. Unfortunately, to no suprise, no one else knew what Firefly was (after all, there were only about 15 others in the class). She was like, "Do any of you remember the movie Serenity that came out last year?" A few said they did. She was then like, "Serenity was based off the series Firefly. Very good stuff." I was so happy to see that my new teacher was a Firefly fan. Totally unexpected and very shiny. Anyways, just thought i'd share. At least now my other classmates are aware of Firefly and maybe they'll get curious.

STORYMARK

At the end of the last school year, my Father showed the first few episodes of Firefly to his Middle School class durring the last couple of days.

I was planning on putting Serenity on in my High School class today, as we're doing finals and mine is fairly short (with an 1&1/2 hours for the test), but I forgot I had loaned it out. At least my Mal action figure supervises the class from my office window.

"Well, my days of not taking you seriously are certainly coming to a middle."
