So it's 3am and I'm watching my Angel Season 1 DVDs. More specifically I'm watching "To Shanshu in L.A.". Towards the beginning, Angel senses someone and the gang goes to check it out. It's a stereotypical geek wearing a cape. A somewhat sparkly, reflective cape. He asks them "What do you think of my cape?" Cordelia's response? "Shiny!" And hey, if you think this is a stupid post, cut me some slack cause it's 3am! :-) Oh well, back to the episode.

HA! I loved that geek guy! I always thought he was a precursor to the Geekly Trio on Buffy. Plus, he was in the movie office space!

you don't think the girl was saying that cape is shiny, as in having shine? you did say it was sparkly and reflective. This seems like a misunderstanding.
