So which do you think was better?

I have watched the Pilot (with and without commentary) since the BDM. I am sorry to admit it, but I think I like the Pilot better.

I found it more involving and it definately left me wanting to see more of this world that Whedon created.

After the BDM I was just sort of depressed. It was just too emotional for me to consider it 'fun' or something I want to watch over and over.

So how do y'all feel?

pilot's way better than the movie, different, and not realy comparable but still better.

I, being stuck in england without sky, came to it directly via the dvd and I can't imagine not starting with that, it was fantastic, still is and stands up to many watchings.

I know what you mean about not wanting to see the film many times, I prolly will anyway just to get my fix, in fact I lie, I just saw it tonight for the first time and already wanna see it again, but the pilot was about meeting people and opening up possibilities which is much funner than killing people off all over the place.

that said, I did love the film, I just wish we could have carried on the series instead :(
