Hi. I was looking at ‘Serenity: The Official Visual Companion’ in my local bookshop on Tuesday and was wowed by a drawing on Inara included inside (actually I think there were two drawings?).

I want to get the book myself but before then could someone who already has the book please scan the drawings for me and tell me the name of the artist?

Also, does anyone know if the Serenity comics will be compiled into a single graphic novel like Joss Whedon’s ‘Fray’ was?

Hi,

Don't know if I'll be able to scan the pics for you since my scanner is giving me problems, but if I can I'll send 'em along.

As for the comics, in an interview in that very book, Joss mentions the plan is to release all three issues as one graphic novel, but no date on when. I would think probably sometime after all the excitement of the comics and movie release die down a tad.

Thank you for replying, and if you can scan those images for me it would be great, but don’t put yourself out. I’ll just have to get the book for myself asap.

I'm hoping that the 'Angel: Old Friends' ones will be grouped together as well after they've been released because they look like a must-have, especially the second issue with the picture of Gunn on the front holding his eye (If there's anyone who didn't understand that, just trust that, to an Angel fan, it's exciting
