I just read Serenity #2...and I 'bout fell off the couch when I saw DOBSON wasn't dead!! I knew it! I had this creepy feeling that he'd somehow survived and would come back to haunt our BDHs - and he looks totally badass! When I first started writing fanfic, before the release of Serenity #1, I was toying with the idea of bringing him back in a fic. Now I feel vindicated. Damn, I'm good!!

I wonder what happened to his wedding ring?

Also, Book is turning into a real...well, I don't know what. But I imagine Mal must've hit a sore spot to make the Shepherd go off on him like that. (And I'm suprised Mal didn't strike him back.) I haven't seen the BDM yet, but in all the still shots I've seen of Book, he's looked somewhat grim and unsettled. I think we're about to see a side of the preacher-man that has nothing to do with God....

So what do you think? Y'all read it yet? Huh? Have ya??
