"Wednesday 12-18-2002:
It has been a very sentimental time on set... Happy...Sad...Happy.
Saying farewell to each other, while still making Firefly magic, has been an emotional roller coaster. Looking into eachother's eyes, These friends... This family...Smiling... Tearing... Holding it in... Still working on the best show ever... Action!
The hardest part for us, is having to say goodbye to something so special WAY to soon. Knowing... Had we just been able to break 'atmo,' Serenity would have flown us 'round the worlds and to the stars!'
Rest assured that when final wrap is called this Friday evening... There's going to be crying. There's also going to be a lot of laughter, 'cause Nathan is so F#cken' funny! Our captain Mal... In my humble opinion, we're gonna all miss him the most!
We, the cast and crew of Firefly, thank you for being part of our extended family.

Right that. Sorry ... this wasn't meant to be a "bearer of gloom" post but a "deep admiration for someone giving more than he had to" post.

It ain't over til it's over. And even then I've been known to be stubborn. ;)
