Captain Malcolm “Mal” Reynolds and his renegade crew on aboard the transport spaceship Serenity will take on any job -- legal or not -- to put food on the table and stay afloat while flying under the radar of The Alliance, the ruling government. As a means of legitimate income, the crew takes on several passengers to travel across the galaxy. including a stoic preacher and a wealthy doctor with a mysterious cargo.
